About Us

The Directorate of Personnel Affairs, in line with the regulations and strategies of our University, within the framework of certain principles and objectives, carries out the personal rights and procedures such as  the placement, promotion, appointment, resignation, retirement, etc. of academic and administrative staff by determining the training needs and arranging the necessary training organizations in order to ensure the compliance and continuous development of the administrative personnel to the changing conditions.

Authority, Duties and Responsibilities

The Directorate of Personnel Affairs is responsible for

  • carrying out personal rights and procedures such as the placement, promotion, appointment, resignation, retirement, etc. of academic and administrative staff, determining the training needs and arranging the necessary training organizations in order to ensure the compliance and continuous development of the administrative personnel to the changing conditions in line with the regulations and strategies of Konya Technical University, within the framework of certain principles and objectives.
  • carrying out studies on the university's employment and workforce planning and organizational arrangements that can respond to changing conditions,
  • conducting transactions related to personal affairs such as assignment, cadre, appointment, promotion, orientation, resignation, medical report, registry, retirement, etc. of the academic and administrative staff working in Konya Technical University Rectorate and all affiliated units in accordance with the relevant legal regulations and the Rectorate's personnel policy,
  • determining new regulations by following the legislation related to the Institution, preparing internal publications accordingly and informing all relevant personnel on legislative changes and practices, organizing relevant training programs when necessary,
  • preparing incidental or periodic reports requested by the General Secretariat or other top authorities and preparing all kinds of written and verbal information that may be required by the top authorities, other relevant authorities and institutions,
  • corresponding with persons and organizations outside the institution on issues falling within the remit of duty,
  • expressing opinions and offering suggestions to the senior management regarding the appointment, transfer, duty, promotion and other personal rights and educational needs of the staff.
