The 6th International Conference on Basic Sciences and Technology, ISRES 2026, commenced with an opening program hosted by our University. The opening ceremony was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nurettin Çetinkaya, our Secretary General Kamil Gök, academic staff, and numerous scientists from different countries.

 

Among the invited speakers of the conference were Prof. Dr. Erhan Zor from Necmettin Erbakan University, Prof. Dr. Yasemin Öztekin from Selçuk University, and Prof. Dr. Cankui Zhang from Purdue University. Through their presentations, the invited speakers provided participants with insights into current scientific studies and research outputs in their respective fields.

 

The opening program began with a speech by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik. In his speech, our Rector emphasized the strategic importance of basic sciences and technology in terms of sustainable development, innovation, and societal benefit, and highlighted the necessity of increasing inter-university and international scientific collaborations. He also stated that such scientific events provide an important platform for knowledge production and sharing.

 

Throughout the three-day conference, current research in the fields of basic sciences and technology was addressed through papers and academic sessions. ISRES 2026, which brings together academics from different countries around the world, aims to strengthen the sharing of scientific knowledge, enhance interdisciplinary interaction, and pave the way for new academic collaborations.

 

The organization process of the conference was carried out under the academic contributions and coordination of Prof. Dr. Seyit Ahmet Kıray from Necmettin Erbakan University and Prof. Dr. Bayram Akdemir from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at our University.
