Our Rector Prof. Dr. Babür Özçelik presented a "Certificate of Appreciation" to the scientists whose projects were supported within the scope of the 2021 TÜBİTAK 1001 ARDEB "Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program". Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Selçuk Halkacı also attended the meeting held in the office of the rectorship.

 

 A total of 7 projects prepared by the scientists of Konya Technical University (KTÜN) within the scope of 2021 TÜBİTAK 1001 ARDEB were deemed worthy of support. Our university has demonstrated its difference of being a "Technical University" with 7 projects prepared from 5 different fields: Computer, Electric-Electronics, Chemistry, Environment, Metallurgy and Materials.

 

 

Projects led by Prof. Dr. Handan Kamış and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çisem Kırbıyık Kurukavak from the Department of Chemical Engineering at KTÜN Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Servet Kıran from the Department of Computer Engineering, Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Nas from the Department of Environmental Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Volkan Kalem from the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Ceylan from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Esma Yenel from Vocational School of Technical Sciences were among the projects deemed worthy of support. 

 

Our KTÜN Rector Prof. Dr. Babür Özçelik thanked our lecturers who received TÜBİTAK project support for their contribution to the science and presented their documents. Our Rector Özçelik said: “As Konya Technical University, we continue our studies with the vision and goal of being a "Research University". With the acceptance of 7 projects prepared for the call of TÜBİTAK Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program, our University achieved another important success in 2021. Dear lecturers, you have once again done us proud with your projects and scientific studies that we think will contribute to the development of our country. The project titled "Development of Multifunctional Ti3c2tx Mxene/Poly(1.5 Diaminoanthraquinone) Composites and Engineering Applications: Transition from Nano Dimension to Macro Dimension", which Prof. Dr. Handan Kamış from KTÜN Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Chemical Engineering has undertaken within the scope of TÜBİTAK ARDEB 1001 - Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program, was deemed worthy of support. 

 

 The project titled “Reuse of Urban Wastewater as Agricultural Irrigation Water: Removal of Antibiotics Metabolites with Innovative Treatment Technologies and Transition from Wastewater to Soil and Plants in Agricultural Production”, which Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Nas  from KTÜN Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Environmental Engineering Department has undertaken within the scope of TÜBİTAK ARDEB 1001 – Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program was deemed worthy of support.

 

The project titled "Explosive Circuit Detection from X-Ray Images via Community and Deep Learning Techniques", which Prof. Dr. Mustafa Servet Kıran from KTÜN Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Computer Engineering has undertaken within the scope of TÜBİTAK ARDEB 1001 - Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program, was deemed worthy of support.

 

 The project titled "Production of Lead-Free Piezoelectric Ceramics via Colloidal Coating and Flash Sintering Methods", which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Volkan Kalem from KTÜN Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering has undertaken within the scope of TÜBİTAK ARDEB 1001 - Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program, was deemed worthy of support.

 

 The project titled "Developing a Pre-Diagnostic System for Newborns Using Hyperspectral Imaging and Artificial Intelligence", which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Ceylan from KTÜN Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has undertaken within the scope of TÜBİTAK ARDEB 1001 - Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program, was deemed worthy of support.

 

The project titled "Synthesis of Hetero Atom Doped CCPs and Perovskite CCPs and Their Applications in High Performance Perovskite Solar Cells", which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çisem Kırbıyık Kurukavak from KTÜN Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Chemical Engineering has undertaken within the scope of TÜBİTAK ARDEB 1001 - Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program, was deemed worthy of support.

 

The project titled "Perovskite Solar Cells Using Natural Clay Materials as Skeleton Structure", which Asst.
