Within the scope of the Startup National Mobility Consortium Project, coordinated by Uşak University, a meeting organized under the Erasmus+ program was hosted by our University. The program, attended by academic and administrative representatives from various universities across Türkiye, addressed issues related to making student and staff mobility for internships and training abroad more effective and efficient.
At the meeting, which included participants from nine different universities across Türkiye, the activities of the previous project period were comprehensively evaluated, and strategic plans for the upcoming period were discussed.
In his opening speech, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nurettin Çetinkaya emphasized that the consortium project strengthens the sharing of knowledge and experience among universities and stated that such collaborations make significant contributions to the development of institutional capacity.
Our Coordinator for External Relations and Erasmus+, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muharrem Hilmi Aksoy, highlighted the contributions of the consortium to its member universities and thanked all those involved. He also provided participants with information about our University and the city of Konya.
In the continuation of the program, a comprehensive presentation on the project’s objectives, ongoing activities, and future plans was delivered by the delegation from Uşak University. Within the scope of the meeting, suggestions were discussed regarding increasing international mobility opportunities for students, academic and administrative staff, strengthening sustainable collaborations, and enhancing the effectiveness of project outputs.
Following the exchange of evaluations and suggestions, the meeting concluded with the determination of the roadmap to be followed.
