The seminar titled “The First Line of Defense Against Addiction: Family,” organized in cooperation with our University’s Health, Culture and Sports Department and the Konya Provincial Gendarmerie Command Anti-Narcotics Branch, was held at the Conference Hall of the Development Campus.

 

In the seminar, which was attended by academic and administrative staff as well as students, the role of the family in combating addiction and preventive approaches were discussed. Within the scope of the program, expert personnel from the Konya Provincial Gendarmerie Command Anti-Narcotics Branch and Social Worker Betül Palta from the Green Crescent Counseling Center provided participants with comprehensive information on types of addiction, risk factors, and methods of combating addiction.

 

The seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. Yağmur Küçükbezirci, President of the Green Crescent Konya Branch, our Secretary General Kamil Gök, our Head of the Health, Culture and Sports Department Ali Ziya Yalçınkaya, along with academic and administrative staff and students.
