The Technology Day event organised by our Defence Technologies Society (SAVTEK) brought together leading companies in the defence and technology sectors with students.

 

The event, featuring expert speakers from ASELSAN, HAVELSAN and SIEMENS, was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nurettin Çetinkaya, our academics and a large number of students.

 

Delivering the opening speech, our Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik highlighted the strategic importance of defence technologies and emphasised the contribution of university-industry cooperation to students' professional development. He stated that such events are of great importance in terms of enabling students to get to know the sector closely.

 

The programme included comprehensive presentations on defence technologies, engineering processes, and current developments in the sector. Students had the opportunity to communicate directly with industry representatives through company stands set up in the Development Campus foyer and various activities organised.

 

The Technology Day event, which attracted considerable interest, contributed to students' career planning while creating a productive platform that strengthened university-industry interaction.
