Within the framework of the school trip programs organized by Konya Technical University (KTÜN) Promotion Commission and Coordinatorship of Corporate Communications for university candidates, 1,300 candidate students were informed about the departments in our university, the infrastructure of the laboratories, all the opportunities that the students will benefit from and the opportunities abroad.

 

KTÜN started its school trips on 11 November 2021. Having completed its first term promotional activities on January 14, 2022, KTÜN included the Faculty of Architecture and Design in the promotion process, informing the students about the departments within the faculty and the activities of the departments, and made presentations to guide them in choosing a profession.

 

Candidate students found answers about all the programs at KTÜN, research opportunities, laboratories, social and artistic areas, dormitories and scholarship opportunities of the university on school trips.

 

After the general faculty introductions, the candidates had the opportunity to get to know the scientific studies and research environment of the university by listening to the department introduction presentations given by the faculty members.

 

Many questions were received from the candidate students who participated in the promotional visits about the departments they were interested in. Expert academicians answered the questions of the candidate students and made statements that would allow the students to make true choices.

 

Talking about the school trip programs organized by KTÜN, our Rector Prof. Dr. Babür Özçelik said, “As part of KTÜN school trips, high schools in Konya were visited. During these visits, candidate students had the opportunity to meet our academics. Within the scope of school trips organized by our Coordinatorship of Corporate Communications and Promotion Commission, 17 different departments were introduced. During the visits, we tried to provide the most up-to-date information about our university from the most accurate sources for the students who are preparing for the university exam. Thus, our candidate students will continue their studies with more determination and believing in their goals”.

 

Within the scope of KTÜN school trips, Science High Schools, Anatolian High Schools, Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools and Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools, which are among the leading schools in Konya's success ranking were visited. KTÜN will continue its school trip programs for candidate students in the second semester.
