KTUN supported 102 projects with 58 academicians in the last 1 year

Konya Technical University (KTÜN), which directs the studies by improving cooperation with industrial organizations in Konya and around Konya, contributing to the application of the knowledge obtained through qualified research in the industry, gave life to 102 projects with 58 academicians assigned as consultants to Konya's leading industrial companies in 2023.

 

Academicians from Konya Technical University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Architecture and Design and Vocational School of Technical Sciences supported industrial projects with 121 assignments within the scope of University-Industry Cooperation in 2023. 13 projects were made through KTÜN TTO and 58 academicians were assigned, 11 of which were TUBITAK TEYDEB projects, 4 of which were TUBITAK 1707 Order R&D Projects and 17 of which were KOSGEB Projects. 62 of the assignments were made through INNOPARK, 39 through TEKNOKENT, 13 through KTÜN TTO and 7 through other Technology Development Zones. 10 academicians and 9 graduates from KTÜN continue to work through the companies they own.

 

KTÜN Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik said, "As Konya Technical University, in addition to our teaching activities, one of our priorities is to strengthen university-industry cooperation, to transform our knowledge and projects into added value and to create useful projects for our Konya and our country. For this purpose, the academicians of our University also produce concrete outputs in line with these goals through cooperation, consultancy services and joint projects with their best efforts. In 2023, I would like to thank our valuable academic staff who continue to work and produce with great effort in this context. We will continue to work and produce for much more and better."
