The Internal Control Monitoring and Steering Committee Meeting was held under the chairmanship of our Rector in order to ensure the effective implementation of the internal control system and to enhance its functionality within the units.
The meeting, organized under the coordination of our Strategy Development Department, provided comprehensive information to spending authorities on internal control legislation and the system. Following an evaluation of the current situation, views were exchanged on the processes to be followed and the steps to be taken. As a result of these evaluations, it was decided—upon the approval of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik—to expand the activities related to the internal control system.
The meeting, which is of great importance for implementing the internal control system in a way that strengthens institutional capacity and ensures its sustainability, was attended by our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Nurettin Çetinkaya and Prof. Dr. Ali Köken, our Secretary General Kamil Gök, and spending authorities.
