Our university’s 4th-year students from the Department of Computer Engineering in the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Aysel Banu Tekdamar and Barış Kokulu, developed an advanced technology product that offers solutions to critical problems encountered in the field of healthcare as part of their senior graduation project.
Under the supervision of our faculty member Prof. Dr. Erkan Ülker, the project aims to produce innovative solutions to medical problems through medical technologies and to provide high added value. It was selected among the projects supported within the scope of the TÜBİTAK BİGG Program, earning the right to receive a 900,000 TL investment and being awarded the “Excellence Seal.”
Following this significant achievement, our Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik hosted the students and their advisor in his office. During the visit, Rector Çelik congratulated the students and emphasized that the university is pleased that high-quality academic work and student-focused projects are recognized at the national level. He wished the students and their advisor continued success and expressed pride in their accomplishment.
