BAP 2024 “Priority Area Research Projects” Approved

The scientific evaluations of the Research and Priority Area Research projects proposed to the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Office for 2024 were completed and approved and their contracts were signed in a meeting attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik.

 

In addition to the panel score and panel evaluation, during the determination of the projects to be supported within the scope of scientific qualification and output-oriented results, the performance evaluation of the project manager in converting the outputs obtained within the scope of previously supported projects into scientific articles or patents, the compliance of the proposed projects with the criteria in the BAP directive and application principles, the suitability of the proposed projects to be included in the panel in terms of form, and the compliance with the priority area topics in the BAP call plan were taken into consideration.

 

During this process, 7 online panels were organized, 20 Panelists working outside our university and 5 Panel Moderators working at our university participated in these panels, and in the determination of the assigned Panelists, the departments and areas of expertise of the Panelists and the areas of expertise included in the project proposal were taken into consideration.

 

Accordingly, 14 of the 23 project proposals submitted within the scope of the 2024 Research and Priority Area Research projects application were scientifically evaluated and as a result of the panel evaluation, it was decided to support 13 project proposals and the contracts of the academicians whose BAP Projects were accepted were signed in the meeting held.

 

The meeting where the contracts of the projects with a total budget of 2 million 735 thousand 596 TL were signed was held with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Deveci, BAP Coordinator Prof. Dr. Mustafa Topkafa and the project owners.
