A Strategic Cooperation Protocol was signed between Konya Technical University and Tirana Polytechnic University

Konya Technical University (KTÜN) has signed a new strategic partnership in line with its internationalisation vision. At the ceremony held at the KTÜN Development Campus, Konya Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Nurettin Çetinkaya, Head of International Relations Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muharrem Hilmi Aksoy, and Assistant Head of International Relations Lecturer Dr. Teslime Gökgöl.

 

Representing the Polytechnic University of Tirana at the meeting were Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Elfrida Shehu, Director of Communication and Coordination Robert Kodra, and Head of the Communication and Coordination Unit Aulona Beqo. In a cordial and academic atmosphere, representatives of both institutions presented their universities' visions, research priorities, and international projects to each other.

 

The protocol signed following the presentations covers a wide range of areas of cooperation, including joint postgraduate programmes, academic and administrative staff and student exchanges, joint research projects, scientific events, cultural activities and summer schools. This agreement is considered an important step in supporting both universities' vision of scientific excellence, innovation and sustainable international partnership.

 

This protocol, which will be valid for five years, aims to increase the academic visibility of Konya Technical University in Europe and to establish a bridge of knowledge, culture and technology between the Balkans and Turkey.

 

The meeting under the protocol concluded with the shared hope that the new cooperation between the two institutions would contribute not only to academic but also to cultural relations.
