Purpose: The aim of the program is to train surveyors who will be able to meet the demands of public institutions and the private sector on surveying, who are confident, who have gained professional knowledge and skills, who can follow technological developments, who have grasped the spirit of teamwork, and who can communicate and express themselves verbally and textually and carry out their work within the framework of professional and ethical responsibilities.

Vision: Our vision is to become a prestigious and nationally and internationally recognized program that provides education and training to meet the demands of public institutions and the private sectors by following the current technologies, and offers its graduates to the service of the country and humanity.

Mission: By means of the education it provides at associate degree, the mission of the program is to prepare and implement a comprehensive and continuously improved curriculum for students who want to receive education to be a survey technician. Within the framework of this curriculum, it trains its students in accordance with the educational objectives it has determined.

Medium of Instruction: Turkish

Description of the Program: The Surveying and Cadastre Program is an associate degree program that trains survey technicians who will meet the needs of public institutions and the private sectors, which make planning and do project-related studies on the land. The education period lasts two years and consists of four terms. At the end of the second term, our students increase their knowledge and skills by doing internships in public institutions or private sectors for 30 working days. In addition, at the end of the 4th term, the course named "Topographic Map Design" is taught under the supervision of the instructors during the summer holidays.

Admission and Registration Requirements: If the candidates have a high school or equivalent diploma and get enough grades from the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) in Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS), they are eligible to enroll in our programs depending on the quota. The associate degree programs that the graduates of Vocational and Technical High Schools can enrol by obtaining additional marks are explained in the HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION EXAM (YKS) GUIDELINE.

Recognition of Previous Learning: Students who have previously studied in another higher education institution can apply for exemption from some courses. For this, they have to submit the transcript and course content as explained in the terms of application. They can be exempted from the appropriate courses after necessary evaluations.

Requirements for Graduation: Students can graduate from this program by completing 120 ECTS credits. In addition, at the end of the second term, students have to do an internship consisting of 30 working days and at the end of the 4th term, they have to be successful in the "Topographic Map Design" course.

The Principles of Assessment and Evaluation: Assessment and Evaluation process is based on Konya Technical University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Exam Regulations. In-class activities are carried out by the academic staff by transferring them to the students at the beginning of the semester.

Employment Opportunities: The graduates of Surveying and Cadastre program have quite broad employment opportunities. Our graduates can work in institutions and organizations such as General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, Municipalities, Provincial Banks, General Directorate of Highways, General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, General Directorate of Disaster Affairs, Ministry of Public Works and Settlement, General Directorate of National Real Estate, Provincial Directorate of Agriculture, Public Housing Administration, Ministry of Forestry, TCDD (General Directorate of Turkish State Railways), BOTAŞ (petroleum pipeline corporation), İGDAŞ (İstanbul gas distribution industry and trade joint stock company), TEDAŞ (Turkish electricity distribution corporation), MTA (general directorate of mineral research and exploration), TPO (traveling post office), General Directorate of Mapping, Construction Companies, Surveying Engineering Offices, Map Production Companies, Geographic Information System Companies, Real Estate Investment Companies, Real Estate Valuation Companies, Mining Companies, Universities, etc.

Transition to Higher Degree Programs: Students can take the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) held by ÖSYM every year and continue their undergraduate education by transferring to the faculties related to their field indicated in DGS catalogue.
