Coordinatorship of Foreign Languages

About

History

Coordinatorship of Foreign Languages was established in 2019 as an administrative unit of our university. Among the reasons for its establishment, offering compulsory and elective foreign language courses taught in the departments of our university was the main reason. In addition, the process of organizing, conducting and documenting the foreign language placement test held during the student selection process for Erasmus+ programs necessitated the establishment of a coordinatorship. Similarly, conducting the compulsory foreign language exemption exam held at the beginning of the academic year and the foreign language courses opened upon the request of external stakeholders are among the reasons for the establishment of the coordinatorship. With the opening of the preparatory class at our university in the coming years, it is among the expectations that the coordinatorship will expand its mission and vision, and turn become a school of foreign languages.
