The 2nd Alumni Gathering, organized by our university’s Career Center, brought together alumni from different graduating classes at an iftar program held amid the spiritual atmosphere of the month of Ramadan. The gathering, held at the Gelişim Campus, strengthened solidarity among alumni while reinforcing the enduring bond between the university and its graduates.
The iftar program was attended by our university alumni, including Dr. İhsan Bostancı, Secretary General of the Mevlana Development Agency; Prof. Dr. Ali Kahraman, General Manager of İnnopark; KTUN Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Nurettin Çetinkaya and Prof. Dr. Ali Köken (who is also Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences), Director of the Technical Sciences Vocational School Mustafa Altın, and Secretary General Kamil Gök, as well as numerous academic and administrative staff members working in various professional fields.
Speaking at the ceremony, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, emphasized that graduates are the university’s most valuable stakeholders and said, “You, our esteemed graduates, who are successfully pursuing your paths in various fields and cities today, are not merely memories of the past for us; you are the pride of our present and the strongest representatives of our future. “It brings us immense joy to see that, through the education you have received, the knowledge you have produced, and the hard work you have put forth, you represent our university’s name in the best possible way on every platform. I believe that graduation marks not a parting, but rather a new and stronger dimension to the bond we have established with our university,” he said.
The iftar gathering, marked by heartfelt conversations and the sharing of memories, concluded with commemorative photos taken to mark the occasion.
